UTV Software net profit declines 40%

Mumbai-based UTV Software Communications, has posted 40.12 per cent fall in its consolidated net profit at Rs 46.52 crore in the financial year ending March 2009 as compared to Rs 77.69 crore in the previous year. The consolidated revenue of the company, however, jumped 53 per cent from Rs 442.44 crore to Rs 676.84 crore. US markets end in the green Standalone net profit of the company, in contrast, jumped about four times to 25.82 crore from Rs 4.48 crore on a revenue of Rs 262.17 crore versus Rs 286.29 crore.
